#26: Evil's Afoot... Maybe a Leg Too
This was a bunch of cameos thrown together into a strip. As I've said before, I like using new sprites almost as soon as I get them. In this case, I had a fresh Nathan, Frankie, and made a Mummy sprite out of the Zelda one. It was time to patch a bunch of them together.
I rather like the Frankie and Mummy characters. I try to use them when I can, but save them up for when a joke is worthy. Honestly, when I first put them in this comic, I didn't realize they would get used as much as they did. But it's nice.
For anyone paying attention, these first couple of cameos for Nathan, before he became a regular, has him using a different font. When I put him and Samus toegther, before I started using speech bubbles, their fonts were too evenly matched. I changed his to grey so it would be noticable who was talking. When I revamped the old font on some comics, I left his as orangish-yellow out of repect to the art. I could have made it grey, but again, that feels like cheating.
Honestly, CVRPG is a learning experience for me, and I want at least some of the foibles to show through.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
