Super Special Comic 1500: Alternate Sequence

Seriously, I'm anal retentive enough about the comic at this point that if the comic doesn't end a week on a "5" or a "0" (since it's a five a week comic), I get angry with myself. Most of the time now I run my comics five-a-week when I produce them, even if they publish on other schedules. It fits my compulsion, and I get a nice backlog as well.
I'll be hosed if CVRPG ever goes truly daily. Ugh. The number 7 just does not match well with any evenly paced schedule.
Anyway, I had a couple of ideas for comics I could have done during the Comic 1500 run, but considering how weird it had already gotten, and the fact that I didn't want to be stuck on this special event forever, I had to scrap a number of jokes and ideas. I've salvaged two of them (with one on the next comic) just to help with spacing the schedule out.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
