I don't think we've seen a proper Nathan/Samus team-up since CVRPG Gaiden. It has been too long. Not that they're the most effective partnership. I honestly think they've done so little since they really suck when they're teamed up. Nathan should have probably gone off with Crono or Link instead of Samus back in the day, but that would have changed so many other plotlines (in retrospect) that I don't think the comic would be the same if I'd done that.
One day I really need to explain how Nathan can be this far in the past since his actual Castlevania game is set in the 1800s, 200 years after this series. Hrmm...
