#2560: Tough Squeeze
This Comic's Storylines:
We've seen Angel get injured. One has to assume he has internal organs of some kind, something that could suffer enough damage that it would kill him if those organs were damaged. He is, theoretically, a multi-dimensional being and what we see isn't all there is to Angel, but most of that extra stuff could just be metaphysical energy that extends across the multiverse.
In short: Angel's physical form is his primary form. To lose that, theoretically, would kill him.
