#2718: Limits
As I've established before, Angel has finite amounts of magic, just like all the other characters in the series. We don't see him run out of magic very often since he almost never uses it, but it is there.
Presumably he just has to wait a little but for his meter to refill.

Damn, if they weren't constrained by comic logic they could encircle Golem. Oh, shouldn't they be trying to, say pin Golem, or otherwise incapacitate it without inflicting serious damage? Regardless of how much they like it, Golem's a great resource. As in, it makes a wonderful shield/deterrent/foil.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
