#72: Heroic Meeting

And here's Protoman, with his (Darkmoon) red glow. This comic went through a pretty major revamp. It was originally comprised of two horizontal panels. As with the new version, it's been rearranged to vertical panels (primarily to give the text more room to breathe).
I also layered the last line of the comic. It's supposed to look like Mega and Proto both say "I hate spikes" at the same time. In the original version this was pretty simple to pull off, as all I had to do was share the speech bubble. Of course, with text-colors now being used, I can't just do that. The most elegant way (and the one I used) was to layer the text so they both say it, but you see each version.
It's little things like that you don't think about, but really effect a strip.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
