This comic raises and interesting conjecture: If Death pays his bills to an Elder God, that means the Elder God is actually in the word.
Those of you that have read CVRPG will know that Elder Gods are terrible things, creatures that only want to destroy the universe and remake it as they see fit.
If an Elder God owns Death's house, he either doesn't care much about ruling the universe... or he's most pathetically underpowered Elder God ever. An Elder God in name only. Huh.
