I know that in Final Fantasy II, everything you did gave you skill points. I think running was included in that list. It was like an early first draft of Skyrim, earning shit for doing everything.
Originally I was going to have Fighter say, "we never run." But Black Mage ran a lot in the battle against the Elder God. Fighter ran too when he was chasing down Hanz, but that was different -- he ran towards, not away.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
