Strictly speaking, as far as I know they aren't really Nazis. They've modeled, in the Metal Slug games, to look like them, but the swastika doesn't appear in the game series, replaced with an even more generic black cross. it does show up in a white circle in a field of red, though, so I think that's close enough for our purposes.
