#114: A Moment of Heroics
Inventory systems have been in the Castlevania series before. Simon's Quest had one, and I think Vampire Killer as well (at least of a sort). But the full inventory systems, with a huge selection of items and healing potions and so forth didn't come about until Symphony of the Night. For a hero like Richter, inventory systems would feel like cheating.

And yet, despite that, Richter still doesn't use them (haha).

Hanz's little storytelling flourish, with the panels of action as part of the dialogue, was an interesting little layout twist. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
