Honestly, just about every boss in a video game will have tells if you know what to look for. Heck, the entire Souls series (Dark and Demon) is based on being able to read what your opponent is doing and anticipate how to avoid the attacks. This is why I can never play them -- I'm too twitchy to ever be able to handle a game like that. Hell, much as I love them, I'm really bad at the Castlevania games.
