I like the fact that Alec ramages the dungeon. Leaves nothing left in one piece. Seems fitting somehow. He's not really Link, so he shouldn't handle a dungeon the same way.
I also like the fact that Alec is still the innocent one. He'll threaten pain, but talking about sex organs makes him uncomfortable. Adds a weird little bit of depth to him.
